Alles war tadellos! Service von Ron (seine Ehefrau war gerade in England) und Lucy (Haushälterin) war bestens. Das gilt auch fürs Frühstück und für unser Zimmer; die Ausstattung gefiel sehr, die Dekoration (Bettdecken, -kissen, Vorhänge u.ä., auch die Deko im Badezimmer) im Zimmer als auch im ganzen Haus liebevoll und ausgesucht. Schön auch: der Flügel, auf dem man auch selbst spielen durfte. Sehr moderne Fernseher auf den Zimmern. Gesicherter Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück. Lage sehr zentral und doch ruhig, was für Paarl allgem. gilt. Super Tipps von Ron, u.a. durften wir auch an einer astronomischen Beobachtung mithilfe eines seiner Teleskope, gemeinsam mit ihm, teilnehmen. Schöner, kleiner Pool und wunderbarer Garten. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

I visited Paarl on business from 14 to 16 April 2010 and stayed at Aster Palms guesthouse. The host and hostess, Ron & Kim Morley, were wonderful and cater to any need. The accommodation is very comfortable and beautifully furnished - especially comfortable bed and bed linen and a lovely en suite bathroom. The breakfasts are first class - really wonderful, and served in a delightful dining room with exceptional cutlery and furnishings. It was a bit too chilly to swim but the pool looks very inviting.

The stay at Aster Palms was the beginning of a wonderful Easter weekend. Ron and Kim were fantastic hosts and went the extra mile to make our stay a memorable one. The rooms were spotless and the ablution facilities outstanding. Breakfast was a 3 course affair and matched the facilities on offer EXCELLENT!! We will most definitely be returning.

Wonderfully comfortable, large and clean rooms in an outstanding guest house, conveniently close to the main road, yet incredibly quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Aster Palms and only wished we could have stayed longer. Kim and Ron made us feel incredibly welcome, Kim even made us a delicious "cake to order" and Ron kindly invited us to a very interesting "stargaze evening" in the garden. Kim was so patient and helpful in giving advice and booking restaurants, picnics etc. The pool was wonderfully warm and clean and a very good size. Private parking and very secure - wholly recommended!
